what do breakfast, power tools and cleaning supplies have in common?

Well, not much really - if anything - but in this case: they're making an appearance in the same miniature-scene 😁

So, what is going on here? Looks like someone's having breakfast with fresh coffee, fried eggs, tangerines and doing some work in the kitchen.

Okay, something's up. Let's investigate...

Mmmm... (almost) empty shelves, a black marker, household steps, a drill, pliers... eehhhh..., I haven't got a clue 😏

But while we look for some, check out these eggs: aren't they marvelous?! I think they look só real!

there is a hair or something in it, unfortunately, but I wasn't able to remove it;
it seems to be under the top layer and baked in. Oh well, it is a miniature after all,
and things like that not easy to prevent, I get that
😇.

They are from Etsy from a seller that doens't currently sell and to be honest, the shopping experience wasn't great for several reasons and I wouldn't have gone back to them. Which is rare in miniature-land, as in my experience most sellers of great miniatures are an absolute delight to do business with.

Butttt.... the eggs don't look any less perfect and delicious if you ask me! 😋

A bucket: ah, must be spring, eh... fall cleaning! Just a thorough ..., but hold on: what's with the boxes?

By the way, look at that net of tangerines: how awesome is that?

I can't remember where I got them from... (not Etsy though, I checked my history
of purchases with them from years ago to provide a seller for anyone interested)

And a behind-the-scene shot, just because I felt like it 😁.

Well, we'll see what that's about! Maybe soon....-ish 😉

Have a great day!

[This post was planned for after the park scenes, also written, photographed and ready to go since July (I actually created this scene and post befóre the park/bench ones; scheduled to be published after however, for timeline purposes), but I guess with too much other things going on at the time I didn't even realize it wasn't posted yet either, sooo.......: better late than never! 😁]

  1. Hi Monique! I absolutely Love this scene! So much more real than carefully curated ones! Who doesn't have projects and supplies in their kitchen? Lol! (My kitchen floor serves as the mini building "staging area" and sawing spot... and drilling too for that matter!) Looks like home to me.. because we have to eat sometime! Lol. I look forward to hearing more about all these fabulous miniatures... in whatever order you like! :):)

    1. Hey Betsy, thank you! Hahaha, well I do like those a lot too, but I know what you mean. Looks very 'active' right? Oh wow, that is a kitchen doubling as a workshop, lol, but we have to work with (and where) we've got right? Thanks for your enthusiasm and you'll see ;) Have a great weekend!
