one-time handcream

last week finally able to do some minor steps on my mini-laptop, which is fun. But it will take a lot more of those steps to finish, so I wanted to make something inbetween. Something I had been wanting to try for quite some time now: a tube of my favorite handcream that I got from a friend once (it's bigger than most tubes of handcream, about 17cm long (about 6,7 inches), the mini-one 1,4cm (approx. 0,4 inches)).

why 'one-time handcream'?
well, it's not just a miniature version of a tube of handcream... Nope, I wanted to make it as real as possible, so the cap is coming of and it contains the real stuff which can be squeezed out! How fun is that?
And when you would use it on your big humanhands, it would just be enough for one time only, lol :) so that's why... Of course for dollsized people a tube like that goes a long way and humans should stick to their own-size-products anyway ;)

I had some trouble with making the tiny cap (just 0,8mm x 2mm) from a small strip of plastic and some clay and getting it to fit as well. When I couldn't get the strip of plastic turned into a tiny circle and gluing it, again and again, I honestly didn't think that I would be able to succeed at the cap. But... I kept trying and I díd manage somehow :) And the tube itself, well, it's not very perfect and I do see room for improvement, but..... I was very surprised and superhappy I succeeded at all at making it so you can use it like the real thing and I like it very very much!

  13. So much fun to see that project. The shea cream is the best and has such a lovely light fragrance. My sons all know that most of their products are a "go to" gift for me!
