Telling Time

I love clocks. Not that I have many, but I do love them. Meaning: a selection of the enormous amount out there, since a lot of them are just plain weird and/or ugly, haha.

The chair is from 'Take-a-Seat' I once ordered

the first 'step(s)' of the Oldtique Store!

Yes, finally a start on this project, my first building, litterally the first step(s) of it. Just like slate, at least I think (like the mantle from the christmaslantern I made it with fimo as you can also see in the last picture), worn on the left where the door will be because lots of imaginary people have stepped on that side by entering the store (and the stores that were there before) ;)

the basket-case..

.. or the case of the rectangular basket. I'm waiting for some supplies for the laptop and something else I'm working on, so I painted a basket I made a while ago from white electrical wire. I wanted a rectangular basket like a real one, but had no clue how to do that, since you can't just start weaving it like you can with a round one. But got the ol' brain working for a bit, got an idea, made something for it and there it is: a rectangular basket like a real one. Me so proud :)

started making miniature laptop

my next project is a miniature laptop, after my own. I want it with a light, but even the smallest bulbs were to big (screen would have to be twice as thick with them, which I found unacceptable!), but then I found tiny bulbs, 0,75 mm (!) that would just be right. I'm very curious on how realistic I will be able to make it, but I have some ideas that might bring me close. Just some parts I made to start with, mostly from my beloved thin black plastic that comes with sandwichmeats.

mini-jeans

not that I needed miniature jeans in any project, but just HAD to make them. Only because last year I suddenly thought of how impossible it seemed to me to make a realistic pair of jeans in miniature. It just wouldn't leave me.. Surprising what can keep a person busy, right? But won't sound strange to you at all, I'm sure ;)

so I went thinking of a way it might be possible, by using a pair of my own, camera, computer, printing fabric, some other items and a lot more patience than I ever thought needed for this miniature.
