video of working tissuebox

like last post I have another oldie for you that I made a little video of. So you can see it can actually be used!

besides some music - starts after a while - it also has some sound, so make sure your volume is on/open :D. I hope you'll like it, enjoy!

in the early days of this blog I showed a flowery tissuebox that I'd put tissues inside that could be pulled out as they would from a fullsize one. So when one is pulled out, the next is already sticking out of the box etc. That was the one on the bottom of this post from 2011.

the past year I made this Kleenex-version of the box and recently thought it'd be nice to film how it looks being 'used'. Not because it's such an impressive miniature, it's very simple, but I do think it's fun and I've had much pleasure making & editing this little 'movie'!

below some photo's of the little scene, just because I like them (I think the background and floor from the fridgescene works well here too, except such small floortiles might be a bit weird for a living space :D, but who knows, it might be a new trend!)

  2. I LOVE the floor tiles! They are perfect!
The little piles of Kleenex reminded me of a funny commercial we have here in the US. It is for flu medication. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwgyumJy5Ak

  5. Hello Monique,
That tissue box is awesome. Simple, yes, but such a great accessories for a miniature setting. Well done. The pictures of the living space are lovely. I think tiles living rooms are much more popular in Europe!

    1. thank you Giac! You are right about tiles in livingrooms in Europe, but for as far as I know that's mostly southern Europe, like Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, the Mediterranean countries. Because of our climate the most used floorcoverage might be carpet, but wood is popular too and with floorheating there are enough people who like tiles, but mostly big ones :D

    1. Thank you Grandmommy! The key was even supposed to be switched between slots, but unfortunately I held the syringe I used for the superglue to glue the tiny tube in to much to the side when pulling out and because I had to put the key in while gluing for it to be in the right spot for it to be used it glued stuck.. But, upside is, I will never ever lose that little key, haha! ;)
