not my work, but very mini and fun!

can't show you anything yet (but is worth the wait I think/hope ;) , but in the meantime I'd like to share something special and very mini with you that you might like as well as I did.

it's 'Dot', the world's smallest stop-motion animation character shot on a Nokia N8, enjoy!

liked it? Well, it's even nicer (I thought) when you know how they came to this wonderful result. Seeing the making of left me in awe of this very special project and made it even more fun looking at it again.... If you want to skip the technical part - although the very first part is interesting about how they came to doing this project - from 1 minute 40 they start telling about the stuff that I liked best.

note: with their comment about a whole days work meant they got 4 seconds worth of film, I calculated it means it took about 24 days to shoot this 1.37 minute film....

  3. That was delightful. We really enjoyed it, I had to show my 13 year old daughter who also thought it was sweet. It is amazing to see how they put it together.

    Thanks for sharing

  5. A-mazing! And four seconds' worth of film for a day's work - that kind of sums up the miniaturists' ethos, doesn't it? Thank you for sharing this tiny film star and the team behind her.
